A New Step Toward a Future Full of Opportunities
Published on Sunday - 2026/08/16Save Youth Future Society (SYFS) has launched the first training cohorts under the project “Empowering Refugee and Vulnerable Youth and Women through Skills Pathways and Employment Opportunities,” implemented under the supervision and partnership of Glocal Shift – The Netherlands, with funding from the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund (AGF).
The project responds to the growing need to strengthen the capacities of young people and women and support their access to educational and professional pathways that can help them build more stable and independent futures.
The initiative aims to train and equip 700 young women and men through specialized pathways in vocational, digital, and green skills, strengthening their readiness for the evolving demands of the labor market.
The training goes beyond knowledge acquisition. It is designed to create broader pathways to practical training, self-employment, and employment opportunities, helping participants turn the skills they gain into meaningful opportunities that can contribute to improved livelihoods and greater self-reliance.
With the launch of the first training cohorts, participants are beginning a new journey to strengthen their capabilities, explore their potential, and prepare themselves for emerging opportunities in the labor market.
The project reflects a clear belief that investing in youth and women is an investment in more resilient, productive, and innovative communities—and that access to relevant skills and opportunities can be a critical step toward a more sustainable future.
Today, the training journey begins. Tomorrow, new opportunities begin
